How We Install Artificial Grass (The Real Process, Not the Shortcut Version)

After that, we build a solid foundation using around 50mm of Type 1 crushed concrete, compacted until it’s firm. A finer layer of grano dust is added on top to create a smooth, level surface. When the base is ready, the artificial grass is rolled out, trimmed, shaped, and joined with specialist adhesive where needed. To finish, we brush the fibres upright and check every edge so the lawn looks clean and natural.

The end result is a surface that drains well, feels great underfoot, and stays put.
