A Look Back at 2023 with Luux Landscapes
Here at Luux Landscapes, our team of garden specialists are experts in reimagining and transforming outside spaces so that they provide both a safe and aesthetically pleasing space for your family to entertain, play, and relax.
In 2023, our client work has covered all corners of Essex – spanning patios and decking, installing artificial grass, and relaying entire gardens to maximise the use of both space and sunlight throughout the day.
So, as we look ahead to a new year (and look forward to the vibrant colours of Spring just a few months away), here is a round-up of our 2023.
Winter 2022 to Spring 2023 – What We Worked On
The start of 2023 saw a fair few clients come to us with their plans for a new year surprise – with one of our early projects of the year taking place at Lexden Springs Special Needs School in Colchester. As part of this, we set about recreating a colourful and playful outside area for the kids to enjoy with the arrival of Spring.
While the weather was still icy cold, our team also travelled to Ongar in Essex – working for an elderly couple whose vast outside space to the front of their home was looking a little unloved and underutilised. To make maintenance as easy as possible for them, we installed artificial grass to cover an area of 265m².
Finally, we returned to a repeat customer’s home in Chelmsford, to install a stunning porcelain patio – just in time for the start of summer parties and al fresco dining!
Summer 2023 – How we Embraced the Warmer Months
Between May and September 2023, we worked on a number of projects, returning to Lexden Spring Special Needs School for some maintenance and safety work, before installing a section of artificial grass at a site in Great Canfield.
As part of the latter project, we completed the installation with a border lining the artificial grass, suitable for seasonal plants to be embedded into the landscape. We can’t wait to see how this one turned out, and how the plants have become established if we make a return visit in Sumer 2024.
Finally, we transformed an outside space in Easton, with a blend of artificial grass and an assortment of decorative stones to create a truly magical, fuss-free setting.
Autumn to Winter 2023 – Closing out the Year on a High
With the end of the year on the horizon, the Autumn and Winter months of 2023 have been all about low-maintenance artificial grass and the establishment of safe and secure paved driveways and patio areas. With more Essex homes revelling in the ease and convenience of artificial grass and block patio areas, we are proud to have delivered these concepts in a variety of ways – using the space available to deliver unique finishes and stylish areas.
One of our most exciting projects was for a client in Grays, where we were tasked with laying areas of both artificial grass and patio, before installing a drain system, concrete posts with a gravel board, and a rustic trellis to finish the look. Again, we can’t wait to see how this looks once the trellis plants have become established!
