Case Study: Transforming Outdoor Spaces With Innovative Design
The Challenge:
Imagine a garden that’s just waiting to become something special—a place for relaxation, entertainment, and making memories. That’s exactly what we encountered with this project. The space was uninspiring, with tired grass and outdated features that needed a serious makeover. Our goal? To turn it into a vibrant oasis where the client could kick back, host friends, and enjoy the outdoors – just in time for Summer!
Our Approach:
We wanted to create an outdoor space that felt like an extension of the home—modern, cosy, and full of character. So, we got to work, focusing on five key elements: earth core grey porcelain paving, brown sleepers, Oakmont 40mm artificial grass, black ice decorative stone and a pergola.
1. Earth Core Grey Porcelain Paving:
We started with the foundation—earth core grey porcelain paving. It’s not just your average paving; it’s sturdy, stylish, and ties everything together. Plus, its neutral tones make it a perfect canvas for the rest of the design to shine.
2. Brown Sleepers:
Next up, we brought in some rustic charm with brown sleepers. They’re not just pretty to look at; they help define different areas of the garden and add a touch of natural beauty that grounds the whole space.
3. Oakmont 40mm Artificial Grass:
Who doesn’t love a lush green lawn? We sure do, which is why we opted for Oakmont 40mm artificial grass. It’s the perfect solution for a beautiful lawn without all the hassle of mowing and watering. Plus, it’s super soft underfoot – perfect for picnics and playtime.
4. Black Ice Decorative Stone:
To add some flair and contrast, we sprinkled in some black ice decorative stone. It’s sleek, modern, and adds a touch of drama to the design, giving the whole space a bit of edge.

But we didn’t stop there. To really take things up a notch, we installed a 4×3 pergola complete with LED lights and an electric roof. It’s not just a pergola; it’s a statement piece—a place to relax in the shade during the day and cosy up under the stars at night.
